Summary

Cook Children's, in Fort Worth, Texas, is seeking a full‑time hematopathologist to join their growing team to support the hematology, hematology‑oncology, and flow cytometry sections of the laboratory. Duties include directing the hematology/hematopathology program. Willingness to assist with pediatric surgical pathology duties and shared call is desirable. Additional opportunities in transfusion medicine and coagulation are available if interested.

Responsibilities

• Direct the hematology/hematopathology program
• Assist with pediatric surgical pathology duties and shared call
• Provide expertise in transfusion medicine and coagulation if interested

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree (or equivalent)
• Board certified or board eligible in anatomic and/or clinical pathology and hematopathology
• Board certification in pediatric pathology or experience in pediatric hematopathology is preferred but not required
• Eligible for licensing in Texas
