Presbyterian Medical Group is seeking a Board Eligible/Board Certified Pediatric Hematologist and Oncologist to provide comprehensive care for pediatric hematology and oncology patients in Albuquerque, New Mexico. This PRN opportunity involves leading a care team in a family-centered environment, offering both inpatient and outpatient services. Practice Info
- Join a team of three experienced Pediatric Hematologist/Oncologists and two Certified Nurse Practitioners, supported by dedicated ancillary staff.
- Engage in a mix of outpatient clinics, inpatient consultations, and procedures, with flexibility in your inpatient/outpatient split.
- Work with a culturally and socioeconomically diverse group of patients in a supportive community setting.

Responsibilities
- Oversee and be accountable for the overall quality of care and clinical outcomes of pediatric hematology and oncology patients.
- Manage the physician/patient relationship, working to assure patient and family satisfaction with care.
- Participate in system-wide health management initiatives.
- Provide input into the practice site's financial, clinical, and service quality performance; budget; capital plan; and personnel issues.
- Assist in the development and implementation of clinical and service standards.
- Receive and resolve patient complaints.
- Consult with and advise other providers regarding optimal and cost-effective treatment of pediatric patients.
- Support COG requirements - study protocols, participation in monthly tumor board.
