Pediatric Hematologist/Oncologist – K. Hovnanian Children’s Hospital, Jersey Shore University Medical Center, Neptune, New Jersey

Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking a compassionate and skilled Pediatric Hematologist/Oncologist to join the Pediatric Hematology/Oncology Division at K. Hovnanian Children’s Hospital. RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide comprehensive medical care for pediatric patients with hematologic and oncologic diseases.
• Collaborate with the Division Chief on strategic planning and program development.
• Participate in 24-hour practice coverage (on-call responsibilities).
• Engage in Performance and Quality Improvement initiatives.
• Work closely with nursing leadership on policy development, patient satisfaction, and clinical initiatives.
• Serve as an educational resource for nursing staff, residents, fellows, hospitalists, and community physicians.
• Actively participate in medical/surgical committees as assigned.
• Develop, supervise, and contribute to research projects within the division.
• Ensure timely and accurate completion of professional billing documentation.
• Respond to patient surveys and grievances related to quality of care.

REQUIREMENTS

• MD or DO degree
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatric Hematology/Oncology
• Eligible for New Jersey medical licensure
• Strong interpersonal, clinical, academic, and leadership skills

HMH is committed to pay equity and transparency for our team members. The starting base salary for this position is $188,443 and is a reasonable good-faith estimate of the minimum base pay for this role. In addition to compensation for full-time and part-time (20+ hours/week) positions, HMH offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, vision, tuition reimbursement, and retirement benefits.
