Sanford Health in Bismarck, ND, is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Pediatric Hematologist/Oncologist to join their team. This full-time position involves providing comprehensive care to pediatric patients from birth to young adulthood, including those with acute and chronic diseases.   • Full Time Pediatric Specialists in Pediatric Cardiology, Neurosurgery, Urology, Psychology (virtual) and Allergy
  • Outreach Specialists in Pediatric Orthopedics, GI, Infectious Disease, Nephrology, Endocrinology, Rheumatology, and Pulmonology (virtual)
  • 15 bed Children's Hospital and PICU
  • Full time Pediatric Hospitalist and PICU program
  • 24 bed Level IIIB NICU
  • Footprint: Central/Western ND, Eastern MT, Northern SD

Responsibilities

  • Admit (if applicable to setting), evaluate, diagnose, treat, and provide consultation to patients from birth to young adulthood (21 years of age) concerning their physical, emotional, and social health
  • Treat acute and chronic disease, including major complicated illnesses
  • Provide care to patients in the intensive care setting in conformance with unit policies
  • Assess, stabilize, and determine the disposition of patients with emergent conditions consistent with medical staff policy regarding emergency and consultative call services

Requirements

  • BC/BE Pediatric Hematologist/Oncologist
  • M.D. or D.O. degree
  • Successful completion of a hospital affiliated residency Pediatric program accredited by the ACGME, the American Osteopathic Association (AOA) or the Royal College of Physician and Surgeons of Canada
  • Certification in the primary area of practice by the appropriate specialty/sub-specialty board of the American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS), the American Osteopathic Association (AOA) or the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, as applicable
  • If not board certified at the time of application but completed residency training within the last five years, must achieve board certification within five years from the date of completion of residency training
  • No visa sponsorship available
