About the Position
Full‑Time Pediatric Hematologist/Oncologist at East Tennessee State University (ETSU) in Johnson City, TN. The position is within the Pediatric Hematology/Oncology clinic at Niswonger Children’s Hospital and is part of the Tri‑Cities St. Jude Affiliate Clinic.
Responsibilities
- Provide inpatient and outpatient care of pediatric hematology/oncology patients.
- Teach and mentor medical students and pediatric residents.
- Participate in clinical research within the St. Jude system.
Eligibility & Qualified Candidates
- Must be Board‑Certified or Board‑Eligible in Pediatric Hematology/Oncology at the time of hire.
- Eligible J1 waiver candidates will be considered.
- This position is contingent on outside funding.
Compensation & Benefits
Salary and academic rank will be commensurate with prior experience.
Location & Catchment Area
Niswonger Children’s Hospital is a 94‑bed facility with a 44‑bed NICU and 10‑bed PICU, serving a region that includes East Tennessee, Southwest Virginia, parts of West Virginia, Kentucky, and North Carolina.
