Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive inpatient and outpatient Gastroenterology care
- Perform diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures
- Collaborate with Gastroenterologists, APPs, nursing, pharmacy, and ancillary teams
- Participate in shared call coverage with strong APP and anesthesia support
Required Procedures:
- General Gastroenterology procedures
- Upper Endoscopy (EGD)
- Colonoscopy
- Advanced endoscopic procedures as appropriate
EMR System: Not Specified
Support Staff: Seven Gastroenterologists, six APPs, dedicated office and IBD nurses, endoscopy nurses and technicians, CRNA and 24/7 anesthesia support, RNs, LPNs, MAs, pharmacy professionals, and clerical staff
Days Per Month: Full-Time
On-Call/Weekends: Shared call with APP support and 24/7 anesthesia coverage
- Board Certified or Truly Board Eligible in Gastroenterology (must become certified within 5 years)
- Active Michigan Medical License
- DEA Registration
- BLS Certification
