Sanford Children's Hospital and Sanford School of Medicine at the University of SD are seeking a full-time BC/ BE Pediatric Gastroenterologist to join an established team in an academic setting. This opportunity is ideal for a physician desiring a clinical practice with optional research involvement. Providers will work alongside pediatric sub-specialties, dietitians, social workers, and other integrated health therapists in a dedicated children's hospital environment.
Practice Info
- Join three other pediatric gastroenterologists and two nurse practitioners
- Clinical practice in an academic setting, research is optional
- Dietitians, social workers, CT and Speech Therapy with expertise in feeding, and Integrated Health Therapists are available in the clinic
- Specialty clinic includes 80+ physicians with essentially all Pediatric sub-specialties represented including a Hospitalist Service
- Sanford Children's Hospital has 146 beds and is the only free-standing children's hospital in the state of SD
- Endoscopy procedures are done in the OR with anesthesia support
Responsibilities
- Teach pediatric residents and medical students
- Participate in committees and leadership
- Perform endoscopy procedures in the OR with anesthesia support
