District Medical Group Inc. (DMG) , one of the largest multi-specialty practices in Metropolitan Phoenix, is seeking a full-time Board Certified/Eligible Pediatric Gastroenterologist to join our team in collaboration with Valleywise Health Medical Center (VHMC). Adjacent to VHMC, a robust FQHC Ambulatory Clinic provides comprehensive pediatric primary and specialty care, with additional outpatient centers across the city.
About the Opportunity
This position offers a dynamic role in a full-service hospital that features a Level 1 Trauma and Burn Center , a dedicated Pediatric Emergency Department, NICU, PICU, and Pediatric Acute Care Unit.
- Diagnose and manage a full spectrum of pediatric GI disorders
- Perform pediatric endoscopic and related procedures
- Engage in teaching and mentoring as part of a resident training program
- Work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment
- Opportunity to treat a diverse and underserved patient population
Qualifications
- Board Certified/Eligible in Pediatric Gastroenterology
- Strong clinical expertise in pediatric GI care and procedures
- Excellent teaching and communication skills
- Spanish proficiency is beneficial but not required
- Open to experienced physicians and new fellowship graduates
