Pediatric Gastroenterologist

Staten Island University Hospital, part of Northwell Health, is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Pediatric Gastroenterologist to join its growing Division of Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition. This role involves supporting patient care, research, and education missions, with an emphasis on strategy and growth within a multidisciplinary team. The successful candidate will contribute to providing clinically excellent care in a collaborative environment.

Practice Info

• The Division of Pediatric Gastroenterology includes a multi-disciplinary team of physicians, nurses, dieticians, and social workers.
• A comprehensive pediatric aerodigestive center featuring pediatric gastroenterology, pulmonology, and otolaryngology will open in 2025.
• 15 pediatric specialists practice in a newly renovated, child-friendly, collaborative outpatient center which opened in 2024.
• The department includes physicians with extensive experience in a broad range of specialties and partners with pediatric services including pediatric surgery, radiology, otolaryngology, anesthesiology, orthopedics, and ophthalmology.
• The department has an ACGME-accredited and independent pediatric residency consisting of 24 residents.
• The newly constructed, state-of-the-art Grupposo Women & Infant’s Center will open in 2025, and construction has begun on the state-of-the-art Maffeo Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.

• Support the patient care, research, and education missions of SIUH
• Help with strategy and growth for the Division of Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition
• Participate in resident education and mentorship
