Pediatric Gastroenterologist

Sanford Health is currently seeking BC/BE Pediatric Gastroenterologists to join their dynamic team at Sanford Children's Hospital in Fargo, North Dakota. This clinic-based practice includes hospital consults and endoscopy across a major regional pediatric center serving a large catchment area. Providers also have the opportunity to serve as clinical faculty with the Department of Pediatrics at the UND School of Medicine and Health Science.

• Team consists of 1 MD and 1 Advanced Practice Provider
• Work closely with three on-staff Board Certified pediatric surgeons
• Largest team of more than 65 board certified, fellowship-trained pediatricians and pediatric specialists in the region
• Region's only Level II Pediatric Trauma Center
• Sanford Medical Center houses a 12 bed PICU, with additional flex beds if needed
• Floor shared with 24 bed pediatric unit, and 40-bed Level III NICU
• Member of the Children's Miracle Network Hospitals
• Sanford Health Fargo serves a large catchment area of 1.2 million throughout ND, MN and parts of SD and MT
• Joint appointment as clinical faculty with Department of Pediatrics at UND School of Medicine and Health Science

Responsibilities

• Provide clinic-based care with hospital consults throughout the Children's Hospital (NICU, Peds, PICU)
• Perform endoscopy for both hospital and clinic patients
• Teach medical students and family medicine residents, as well as an upcoming pediatric residency

Compensation

• Nationally competitive compensation plan
• Annual compensation of $340,000 for the first two years of the employment contract, plus estimated potential to exceed compensation floor from personally performed wRVUs
• $100,000 retention incentive to be paid if you remain a 1.0 FTE for 4 years
