Pediatric Gastroenterologist

Children's Hospital of Michigan is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Pediatric Gastroenterologist to join its nationally recognized team in Detroit. This role offers a unique opportunity to practice within an expansive, well-resourced division, engaging in both outpatient and inpatient care. • The Division of Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology, and Nutrition is an expansive, well-resourced team with an ACGME-accredited fellowship program.
• The team includes six board-certified gastroenterologists, a dedicated hepatologist, NPs, clinical nurses, and dietitians.
• Practice sites include the main campus plus Children's Hospital of Michigan - Troy and Metro Detroit satellite clinics.
• Integrated programs in IBD, Aerodigestive Disease, Intestinal Rehabilitation, and Pediatric Liver Disease & Transplant are available.
• State-of-the-art procedural technology is available across multiple campus locations.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient and inpatient care in Pediatric Gastroenterology.
• Perform procedures including capsule endoscopy, pH/impedance monitoring, percutaneous G-tube placement, variceal banding, sclerotherapy, esophageal and anorectal manometry, and breath hydrogen testing.
• Actively participate in training GI Fellows, residents, and medical students through an ACGME-accredited fellowship program.

Requirements

• Board certified or board eligible in Pediatric Gastroenterology.
• Additional training or strong interest in Pediatric Hepatology/Liver Transplant, Advanced Endoscopy, Motility Disorders, or Nutrition preferred.
• Eligible to obtain licensure in the state of Michigan.
