Job Summary

Big Texas non‑profit Health System seeks a BE/BC Advanced or Pediatric Gastroenterologist to work in the San Antonio, TX area.

Responsibilities

• Provide ambulatory and inpatient care, consultative services, and performance of general GI procedures.
• Supervise and educate medical students, residents, and fellows in Gastroenterology.
• Participate in outpatient clinical care for children with intestinal, hepatic, pancreatic, and nutritional disorders.
• Deliver inpatient, consultation, and emergency room consultation for children with intestinal, hepatic, pancreatic, and nutritional disorders.
• Perform general pediatric gastrointestinal procedures such as upper endoscopy and colonoscopy with related therapeutic procedures.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (MD/DO).
• Board Certified / Board Eligible in Pediatric Gastroenterology (BC/BE).
• Licensed in the state of Texas or eligible to be licensed.
