Texas Children's Hospital is seeking a Pediatric Gastroenterologist to join its growing program in Austin, Texas. This is a full-time academic opportunity with an appointment through Baylor College of Medicine.
The clinical model is approximately 90% outpatient, with dedicated endoscopy time and consultative inpatient coverage. The incoming physician will join a collaborative, multidisciplinary team with APP, dietitian, and social-work support. The program welcomes general pediatric gastroenterologists as well as candidates bringing complementary expertise or interest in hepatology, inflammatory bowel disease, motility, or other areas that can help shape the program’s future.
Schedule:
- Typical clinical week includes seven half-days of clinic and one half-day of procedures
- Dedicated endoscopy time
- Consultative inpatient coverage; no primary inpatient service
- Call coverage goal of 1:4 or better
- Base salary target: $300,000-$350,000, commensurate with experience

Requirements:
- MD or DO
- Fellowship training in Pediatric Gastroenterology
- Board certified or board eligible in Pediatric Gastroenterology
- Eligible for Texas medical licensure
