We are looking for Pediatric RNs for an immediate travel nurse opening in Charlotte, NC. The right RN should have 1–2 years of recent acute care experience.
Responsibilities
- Provide age‑appropriate care to children and adolescents.
- Help patients feel comfortable with examinations and procedures.
- Perform physical, medical and diagnostic tests.
- Assess for critical signs and symptoms in pediatric and adolescent patients.
- Assist treating physicians during examinations, treatments and procedures.
- Provide information, education and support to patients’ family members.
Qualifications
- 2 years of recent acute care experience.
- BLS certification.
- PALS certification.
- Additional certifications may be required prior to assignment.
Physical Requirements: Ability to stand and walk for long periods, lift up to 20 pounds routinely and handle patient lifts up to 50 pounds. Must be comfortable with bent, leaned, and stooped positions.
Hazards: Exposure to chemicals and infectious diseases.
