The Division of Pediatric Neurology at the Steven and Alexandra Cohen Children's Medical Center of New York is seeking a BE/BC Pediatric Epileptologist to join their team. This role offers a robust clinical and scholastic experience within a family-centered region of New York, contributing to a leading pediatric teaching hospital. The successful candidate will join a comprehensive team and have opportunities across multiple metropolitan locations.

Practice Info

  • The Division of Pediatric Neurology includes 12 Pediatric Neurologists, 8 NPs, two social workers, a neuropsychologist, one research assistant, and a ketogenic diet specialist.
  • The division has an ACGME-approved residency training program (two per year) and an ACGME approved pediatric epilepsy fellowship training program (two per year).
  • Faculty participate in the curriculum of the General Pediatric Residency Training Program.
  • The facility includes a dedicated 10-bed neuroscience unit (Level 4 NAEC) for surgical patients, performing stereoEEG assisted by robot ROSA, and a three-bed sleep lab.
  • A newly renovated Epilepsy Monitoring Unit (NAEC level 4) opened in 2022.
  • The division oversees 40,000 deliveries per year in the Northwell Health system and has an active research program with intramural and extramural funding, and ongoing drug studies.

Compensation

  • Highly competitive salary
  • Full-time clinical base compensation at Northwell Health ranges from $125K to $750K, impacted by various factors including physician specialty, level of experience, quality of care, academic accomplishments, patient experience and productivity
