Children's Hospital of Michigan, a nationally ranked 228-bed facility and the largest children's hospital in the state, is seeking a Pediatric Endocrinologist to join its expanding Division of Pediatric Endocrinology. This full-time, employed position offers a unique opportunity to combine clinical excellence with academic impact within a well-established, multidisciplinary team. The role involves both inpatient and outpatient practice, contributing to a leading pediatric residency and fellowship program.

Practice Info

  • The Division of Pediatric Endocrinology is expanding and adding a sixth endocrinologist to a well-established, collaborative team.
  • Practice involves inpatient and outpatient care across both clinic and hospital settings.
  • Supported by a large, experienced team including 7 diabetes nurse educators, 6 endocrine nurses, 2 dietitians, and a social worker.
  • Regular collaboration with Neurosurgery, Cardiovascular Surgery, Nephrology, Pulmonary, Hematology/Oncology, Immunology, and Gastroenterology.
  • Faculty appointment at CHM, home to one of the largest pediatric residency and subspecialty fellowship programs in the country.
  • On-site Level I Pediatric Trauma Center and one of the nation's few ABA-verified Pediatric Burn Centers.

Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical care in inpatient and outpatient settings.
  • Participate in academic responsibilities.
  • Cover a minimum of 6 half-day clinics per week.
  • Share call equitably among division endocrinologists, including weekend and holiday coverage.

Shift & Schedule

  • Full-time, employed position combining clinical and academic responsibilities.
  • Minimum of 6 half-day clinics per week.

Requirements

  • BE or BC in Pediatric Endocrinology.
  • Fellowship training in Pediatric Endocrinology required.
  • Eligible to obtain Michigan medical licensure.
  • Interest in medical education and academics highly preferred.
  • No visa sponsorship available.
