Sanford Health is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Pediatric Endocrinologist to join their established practice at Marshfield Medical Center in Marshfield, Wisconsin. This role focuses primarily on outpatient evaluation and management of hormonal disorders in infants, children, and adolescents, with opportunities for teaching and supervision. - Join an established practice in Marshfield, Wisconsin
- Work alongside a great group of Pediatric Subspecialists, Pediatric Hospitalists, Intensivists, and Neonatologists, all located onsite with the Children's Hospital
- Mostly an outpatient practice evaluating and managing infants, children and adolescents with a variety of hormonal disorders
- Focus on type 1 diabetes, obesity, short stature, gender dysphoria and other Endocrine related issues
- Limited inpatient and ER consults during the clinic day
- Low call volume that is shared among the providers, with much support from the inpatient providers
Responsibilities
- Evaluate, diagnose, and provide treatment or consultative services to infants, children, adolescents, and young adults presenting with illness and disorders of the endocrine systems
- Manage conditions including diabetes mellitus, growth failure, unusual size for age, early or late pubertal development, birth defects, defects of the genital region, and disorders of the thyroid, adrenal, and pituitary glands
- Perform history and physical examinations
- Admit patients (if applicable to the setting)
- Supervise and teach Pediatric residents and medical students
Compensation
- Nationally competitive compensation plan
- Annual compensation of $261,000 for the first two years of the employment contract
- Estimated potential to exceed compensation floor from personally performed wRVUs
- $100,000 retention incentive to be paid if you remain a 1.0 FTE for 4 years (subject to a contractual agreement)

Requirements
- MD or DO degree
- Successful completion of a Pediatric residency program
- Completion of a fellowship in Pediatric Endocrinology accredited by the ACGME, AOA, or the Royal College of Physician and Surgeons of Canada
- BE/BC in the primary area of practice by the appropriate specialty/subspecialty board of the ABMS, AOA, or the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada
- If not board certified at the time of application but completed fellowship training within the last five years, must achieve board certification within five years from the date of completion of fellowship training
