The Division of Pediatric Endocrinology at the UPMC Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh and the Department of Pediatrics, University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine is recruiting a Pediatric Endocrinology physician. This primary clinical position offers a blend of inpatient and outpatient responsibilities within a top-ranked, world-renowned health care system. The successful candidate will join a multi-decade tradition of clinical and academic excellence, helping to build and grow an established practice supported by a robust multidisciplinary team.
Practice Info
- Primary clinical position with Inpatient and Outpatient responsibilities
- Busy inpatient and consult service as well as an active Fellowship program currently with 3 Fellows per year
- Major referral site for Western Pennsylvania, Northeastern Ohio, and northern West Virginia
- Staff includes 17 physicians, 12 advanced practice providers, 17 diabetes educators, 4 dietitians, 2 social workers, a clinical psychologist, and 9 endocrine nurses
- Division operates in many locations across Western Pennsylvania
- University of Pittsburgh academic appointment
Responsibilities
- Primary clinical position with Inpatient and Outpatient responsibilities
- Help build and grow our existing practice that will be supported by nurses and certified diabetes educators
Compensation
- Competitive base salary commensurate with experience plus lucrative RVU based incentive bonus

Requirements
- MD or equivalent
- Board certified or board eligible in Pediatrics and Pediatric Endocrinology
- Ability to obtain an unrestricted PA license
- Open to visa sponsorship
