Pediatric Endocrinologist

Cohen Children's Medical Center is seeking a full-time Pediatric Endocrinologist to join their dedicated team, diagnosing and managing pediatric endocrine disorders from infancy to young adulthood. This role is based at the 1991 Marcus Avenue, New Hyde Park location, within an academic medical setting. The position offers a supportive environment emphasizing scholarly activities, teaching, and research at the largest pediatric teaching hospital in New York State.

• Division of Pediatric Endocrinology is part of an academic institution that includes physicians in all pediatric subspecialties as well as pediatric surgeons, anesthesiologists, and radiologists
• Team consists of 15 board-certified pediatric endocrinologists, 4 endocrine fellows, physician assistant, nurse practitioners, certified diabetes educators, experienced endocrine nurses, social worker, and two registered dieticians
• Department of Pediatrics has a fully accredited and independent residency program
• Cohen Children's Medical Center is the largest pediatric teaching hospital in the region, treating over 230,000 children per year and serving 1.8 million children in Brooklyn, Queens, Nassau, and Suffolk counties

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage a variety of pediatric endocrine disorders in children from infancy to young adulthood
• Work collaboratively within a team of practitioners
• Participate in scholarly activities including teaching, clinical research and/or quality improvement
