Pediatric Endocrinologist

Marshfield Medical Center is seeking a BC/BE Pediatric Endocrinologist to join their established practice in Marshfield, Wisconsin. Providers will work alongside a great group of pediatric subspecialists, hospitalists, intensivists, and neonatologists, supporting an outpatient practice focused on various hormonal disorders. This role also offers opportunities to supervise and teach pediatric residents and medical students.

Practice Info

• Established practice in Marshfield, Wisconsin
• Onsite with Children's Hospital and a group of Pediatric Subspecialists, Pediatric Hospitalists, Intensivists, and Neonatologists
• Mostly an outpatient practice evaluating and managing infants, children and adolescents that have a variety of hormonal disorders, with a focus on type 1 diabetes, obesity, short stature, gender dysphoria and other Endocrine related issues
• Limited inpatient and ER consults during the clinic day
• Low call volume that is shared among the providers, with much support from the inpatient providers
• Opportunity to supervise and teach our Pediatric residents, along with medical students that rotate throughout the division

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and manage infants, children and adolescents that have a variety of hormonal disorders, with a focus on type 1 diabetes, obesity, short stature, gender dysphoria and other Endocrine related issues
• Provide limited inpatient and ER consults during the clinic day
• Participate in low call volume shared among the providers
• Supervise and teach Pediatric residents and medical students that rotate throughout the division

Compensation

• Annual compensation of $261,000 for the first two years of the employment contract
• Estimated potential to exceed compensation floor from personally performed wRVUs
• $100,000 retention incentive to be paid if you remain a 1.0 FTE for 4 years
