How you'll make an impact in this role: Peyton Manning Children's Hospital at Ascension St. Vincent (PMCH) has an opportunity for a BE/BC Pediatric Endocrinologist in Indianapolis, IN. This is an excellent opportunity that focuses on inpatient, outpatient, and new patient populations while consulting in the hospital and providing support to triage nurses and nurse practitioners when necessary. We are an established pediatric endocrinology program. While we are not a primary research clinic, we can support an applicant's interests. Current subspecialty clinics include a pre-diabetes clinic, metabolic bone clinic and lipid clinic. There is always availability for anyone to explore their pediatric endocrinology interests.

Practice highlights:

  • Experienced physician staff and nurse practitioner support
  • Office hours are 8:00am-4:30pm, Monday-Friday
  • Opportunity to assist with lipid and/or prediabetes clinic
  • Average of 1-2 phone calls per night
  • 10 total exam rooms
  • Expected patient volume in office per day of 8-12
  • Expected patient volume in hospital per day of 2-5

What minimum requirements you'll need:

  • Licensure / Certification / Registration: Physician MD/DO credentialed from the Indiana Medical Licensing Board obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Education: Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) required.
