The Division of Pediatric Endocrinology at The Bernard and Millie Duker Childrens Hospital at Albany Medical Center
is seeking a 4th full-time physician to join a well-established and collaborative team. This is an excellent opportunity for a pediatric endocrinologist interested in inpatient care, teaching, and professional growth within a supportive academic environment.
Clinical and academic responsibilities:
Inpatient pediatric care and newborn care
Pediatric sedation and complex care management
Active teaching of medical students and residents in Pediatrics, Medicine-Pediatrics and Family Medicine
Position details and requirements:
MD/DO or related degree with board certification or eligibility in Pediatric Endocrinology
Strong communication skills, with a collaborative and multidisciplinary approach to patient care.
Ability to teach, mentor, and collaborate with medical students, medical residents and other healthcare providers.

Houses 60 level 4 NICU beds, 19 PICU beds
Home to the regions only Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU)
Sole Level IV Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) serving 25 counties
Only facility in the region offering 24/7 pediatric emergency services
