Pediatric Emergency Medicine Physician (Nocturnist)

Sound Physicians is seeking a Pediatric Emergency Medicine Physician to join their dynamic team in Savannah, GA. This role offers the opportunity to practice in a patient-first medical group that values clinical judgment and supports professional growth. The physician will work alongside a collaborative team in a freestanding children's hospital, contributing to excellent patient care and outcomes.

Practice Info

• Join a close-knit team of 10 physicians and 6 APPs at Dwayne and Cynthia Willett Children’s Hospital.
• Work alongside a fantastic team of emergency and hospital medicine colleagues, providing an excellent variety of pathology.
• Enjoy full subspecialty support, including in-house 24/7 PICU coverage.
• The emergency department is an 18-bed ED and 14-bed pediatric ICU, seeing 45,000 patients annually.

Responsibilities

• Provide top-quality patient care in a freestanding children’s hospital setting.
• Foster collaboration and support among team members.
• Emphasize proper, careful, and safe patient treatment as a core focus.
• Use EPIC as the electronic medical record system.

Compensation

• Base salary, plus productivity incentives.

Shift & Schedule

• Full-time or part-time nocturnist position.
• Our emergency department provides 38 hours of physician coverage and 24 hours of APP coverage daily.

Requirements

• Board-certified/eligible in Pediatric Emergency Medicine.
• Active medical license or eligible to become licensed in Georgia.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
