Job Description Summary


$10,000 sign‑on bonus + up to $5,000 relocation assistance available. CT Technologists at MUSC play a critical role in capturing detailed cross‑sectional images using cutting‑edge CT technology, including networked CT units, dedicated protocol support, and the only photon counting CT in South Carolina. As a CT technologist at MUSC, you will aid in diagnosing and monitoring various medical conditions, collaborating closely with other care teams to ensure high‑quality patient care in a dynamic medical environment.

Compensation & Incentives



  • Sign‑on bonus: $10,000

  • Relocation assistance: Up to $5,000 for eligible candidates

  • Shift Differentials: up to $5.30 per hour (depending on shift)

  • Additional pay: call pay, overtime, etc.


Shift Details



  • Schedule: Days, Overnights, Weekends


Responsibilities



  • Utilize all CT imaging resources to perform high‑quality CT examinations

  • Provide CT imaging services on pediatric patients

  • Ensure accurate and efficient imaging for physician interpretationMaintain image quality standards and follow established CT protocols

  • Deliver compassionate patient care while ensuring patient safety during examinations

  • Operate CT equipment safely and effectively in a fast‑paced clinical environment

  • Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and healthcare teams to support patient diagnosis and treatment


Required License, Certification and Registration


Education: Graduation from an accredited school of radiologic technology.


Experience: 0 to 2 years of modality specific work experience, at least 1 year of X‑Ray experience.



  • Must be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) (R), required.

  • ARRT CT Registration must be obtained within 1 year in this position.

  • Licensure from the South Carolina Radiation Quality Standards Association is required.


Current Basic Life Support (BLS) required, either certification from an American Heart Association (AHA) BLS for Healthcare Providers or an American Red Cross CPR/AED for Professional Rescuer and Healthcare Provider.
