The Duke Hospital Pediatric Critical Care Medicine Advanced Practice Provider (APP), includes both Nurse Practitioner (NP) and/or Physician Assistant (PA), delivers direct care for critically ill pediatric patients 0-21 across PICU/PCICU/PPCU. The APP may extend care for aging pediatric patients briefly when needed.
