Pediatric - Critical Care Medicine Physician

We are seeking a Locum Tenens Critical Care Pediatric Physician in Flagstaff, AZ.
Shift: 24-hour call with morning rounds; 7:00 AM 7:00 AM
Start Date: October 26, 2026
End Date: Ongoing
Position Details:

• Pediatric ICU coverage
• Minimum 1 week of coverage per month
• 7 15 patients per day
• 5 years of PICU experience required
• AZ license required; IMLC preferred
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatrics

Patient Population: Pediatric patients, ages 0 18; PICU and pediatric patients
Setting: Inpatient
Type of Healthcare Facility: Acute Care Hospital

Responsibilities:

• Provide pediatric critical care coverage
• Conduct morning rounds
• Provide 24-hour call coverage
• Manage PICU and pediatric patients

Required Procedures: Coding
EMR System: Cerner
Support Staff: NPs available onsite during the day and evening
Days Per Month: Minimum 1 week per month
On-Call/Weekends: 24-hour call coverage

Requirements:

• AZ license or IMLC
• Board certification/eligibility in Pediatrics and 5 years of PICU experience
• DEA, BLS, PALS
