About the Role:
nTherapy World LLC is looking for a passionate and dedicated Pediatric Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our growing team in Rock Hill, SC! nResponsibilities:
nImplement individualized occupational therapy treatment plans for pediatric patients under the supervision of a licensed OT
nProvide hands-on therapeutic interventions targeting fine motor, sensory processing, self-care, and daily living skills
nMonitor and document patient progress, updating treatment notes and goals accordingly
nCollaborate with occupational therapists, families, caregivers, and school personnel to support each child's development
nUtilize play-based and evidence-based therapy techniques to engage pediatric clients
nEducate parents and caregivers on home exercise programs and strategies to reinforce therapy goals
nMaintain a safe, organized, and child-friendly therapy environment
nRequirements:
nActive COTA certification through NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy)
nValid South Carolina state licensure or eligibility to obtain licensure
nExperience working with pediatric populations in a clinical, school, or outpatient setting preferred
nKnowledge of sensory integration, fine motor development, and pediatric rehabilitation techniques
nStrong communication and interpersonal skills with children, families, and multidisciplinary teams
nCompassionate, patient, and enthusiastic approach to working with children of all abilities
nAbility to maintain accurate and timely documentation and records
