Pediatric Cardiology Inpatient Attending

The Division of Pediatric Cardiology at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai and the Children's Heart Center at Mount Sinai is seeking a full-time, BC/BE pediatric cardiologist. This role focuses on inpatient cardiology, with a particular emphasis on consultation and cardiac critical care. The successful candidate will join a robust team of pediatric cardiology faculty, fellows, and surgeons, contributing to a leading academic medical system.

Practice Info

• Work as an inpatient cardiologist at Mount Sinai
• Join 16 other Children's Heart Center pediatric cardiology faculty members
• Team includes six categorical pediatric cardiology fellows, one advanced imaging fellow, one adult congenital heart fellow, and two pediatric cardiothoracic surgeons
• Supported by a dedicated pediatric cardiac ICU and a dedicated cardiac anesthesiology service

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient consultation
• Provide cardiac critical care consultation

Compensation

• Compensation range from $270,000 to $350,000 (not including bonuses / incentive compensation or benefits)
• Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialties, historical productivity, historical collections, and hospital/community need
• The salary range listed is for full-time employment and does not include bonuses / incentive compensation or benefits

Requirements

• Doctor of Medicine degree from an accredited program
• New York State Medical License or eligibility
• BC/BE in Pediatric Cardiology
• Interest in general cardiology with a particular emphasis on inpatient consultation as well as cardiac critical care consultation
• Interest in helping build a robust program near NYC
• Meet eligibility requirements for appointment to the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai
