Sanford Health is seeking a BC/BE fellowship-trained Pediatric Cardiologist to join a well-established department at Marshfield Medical Center in Marshfield, Wisconsin. This role involves a mix of outpatient clinic, inpatient consults, and interpretations, working within a collegial team and a designated clinic space. The position offers an opportunity to contribute to a leading children's hospital and engage in medical education and research.
Practice Info
- Join a well-established department with a collegial team of physicians and dedicated support staff.
- Position includes outpatient clinic, inpatient consults to Pediatrics, PICU and NICU, EKG and Echo interpretations.
- Department has a designated clinic space with its own Pediatric Echo lab.
- Partner with an onsite fetal-maternal medicine group.
- Existing partnership with Children's Hospital of Wisconsin to provide some onsite pediatric heart surgeries.
- Outreach to other Marshfield Clinic Health System locations.
Responsibilities
- Perform history and physical examination.
- Admit, evaluate, diagnose, treat, and provide treatment or consultative services to children and adolescents up to the age of 21 presenting with cardiovascular disease.
- Provide treatment or consultative services to adults with history of congenital heart disease and disorders of the heart and blood vessels.
- Provide care to patients in the intensive care setting in conformance with Rules and Regulation and hospital policies.

Shift & Schedule
- 1:3 hospital call.
Requirements
- H-1B and J-1 visa sponsorship available.
- BC/BE fellowship-trained Pediatric Cardiologist.
- M.D. or D.O. degree.
- Successful completion of a Pediatric residency program of at least three years' duration, and completion of a fellowship in Pediatric Cardiology of at least 3 years' duration accredited by the ACGME, the American Osteopathic Association (AOA) or the Royal College of Physician and Surgeons of Canada.
- Certification by the appropriate specialty /subspecialty board of the American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS), the American Osteopathic Association (AOA), or the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, as applicable.
- If not board certified at the time of application but completed fellowship training within the last five years, must achieve board certification within five years from the date of completion of fellowship training unless waived.
