Ochsner Health Center - Gulfport in Gulfport, Mississippi is seeking a board certified/board eligible Pediatric Cardiologist to join the Division of Pediatric Cardiology. The incoming physician will join an established team consisting of a board-certified pediatric cardiologist and three advanced practice practitioners. - The heart center includes 21 cardiologists, 3 congenital heart surgeons, 6 cardiac intensivists practicing in a dedicated pediatric 12 bed cardiac intensive care unit and 3 pediatric cardiac anesthesiologists
- Program performs approximately 250 cardiac surgeries, 400 cardiac catheterizations and 19,000 ambulatory visits at 15 locations across Louisiana and Mississippi per year
Responsibilities
- Outpatient clinic including fetal echocardiography if desired
- Inpatient consultations
- Regional clinic activities
Qualifications
- Board certified/board eligible Pediatric Cardiologist
- New graduates and experienced pediatric cardiologist are encouraged to apply
- Interest and advanced training in fetal echocardiography is highly desirable
- Individuals who reside in and will work from the following areas are not eligible for remote work position: Colorado, California, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Vermont, Washington, and Washington D.C.
