Pediatric Cardiac Hospitalist

Position Details:

Duke University Medical Center is hiring a Pediatric Cardiac Hospitalist to join faculty physicians and APPs working in the Pediatric Cardiac stepdown unit. Position includes fourteen 12‑hour shifts per month from 7a‑7p. Shifts will include weekday and weekend shifts, shared equitably among providers. Candidates early in their career or finishing their Pediatric, Med‑Peds, or Family Medicine residency and interested in gaining additional experience in Pediatric Cardiology and/or Hospital Medicine are encouraged to apply. This is an excellent opportunity to work alongside stellar faculty and providers focused on providing world‑class pediatric cardiac care within Duke Health's 202‑bed Children's Hospital.

Unit Details:

Duke's Pediatric Cardiac Stepdown Unit is a 17‑bed unit staffed by Cardiology faculty, Pediatric Cardiology fellows, and Advanced Practice Providers (APPs). Hired physician will provide direct patient care services for pediatric patients aged 0‑21 with acute, complex, and chronic cardiac conditions under the supervision of Pediatric Cardiology faculty.
