Pediatric Cardiac Electrophysiologist

Position Overview

The Congenital Heart Collaborative at Rainbow Babies & Children’s Hospital seeks a Pediatric Cardiac Electrophysiologist to join our growing team in the Division of Pediatric Cardiology. The position offers a very competitive salary and benefits package.

Successful candidate will join an outstanding team of board-certified pediatric cardiologists and cardiovascular surgeons. You will represent and further the division’s impact locally, nationally, and internationally. The Heart Center includes experienced specialists and state-of-the-art Catheterization and Electrophysiology Suites. A strong fetal program performs over 1,000 fetal echocardiograms annually.

Primary Responsibilities

• Provide all aspects of electrophysiology services, including electrophysiology studies, RF ablation and cryoablation, and device implantation.
• Participate in specialized device services/clinics, channelopathy, sudden death, and autonomic dysfunction clinics.
• Care for patients with arrhythmias from fetal life through adulthood.
• Engage in research, quality improvement, administrative development, leadership, education, and support for academic pursuits.
• Academic rank and appointment with Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine determined by credentials and experience.

Qualifications

• MD, DO, or equivalent degree.
• Board Eligible or Board Certified in Pediatric Cardiology. Additional fellowship training, board certification and other professional interests welcomed.
• Advanced training in performing and interpreting invasive and noninvasive electrophysiology procedures, or equivalent experience.
