The Department of Anesthesiology, Perioperative and Pain Medicine at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai is seeking a Pediatric Cardiac Anesthesiologist to join two current senior faculty. This role involves caring for neonates and older pediatric patients with congenital cardiac disease within the Mount Sinai Kravis Children's Hospital, which is recognized among the country's top children's hospitals. The position offers extensive resident and fellow educational responsibilities and can be focused solely on pediatric cardiac anesthesiology or combined with general pediatric anesthesiology.

Responsibilities

  • Care for neonates and older pediatric patients with congenital cardiac disease.
  • Provide extensive resident and fellow educational responsibility.

Compensation

  • Compensation range from $700,000 to $725,000 (not including bonuses / incentive compensation or benefits).
  • The salary range listed is for full-time employment and does not include bonuses / incentive compensation or benefits.

Requirements

  • Ability to hold an active NY State Medical License.
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology with Fellowship training in Pediatric Cardiac Anesthesia or equivalent experience and expertise.
