About the Position

Pediatric Audiologist – Pediatric Hearing and ENT at Vanderbilt Health Outpatient Clinics, Greater Nashville. Monday–Friday schedule, no weekends or holidays. Provide comprehensive hearing healthcare services across pediatric ENT and audiology practices, diagnosing hearing disorders, fitting hearing aids, and supporting children through every stage of hearing development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive pediatric diagnostic audiologic evaluations for infants, children, and adolescents.
  • Conduct behavioral, electrophysiologic, and objective hearing assessments appropriate for pediatric populations.
  • Fit, program, verify, and manage hearing aid technology for pediatric patients.
  • Counsel families regarding hearing loss, amplification options, communication development, and hearing healthcare recommendations.
  • Collaborate closely with Pediatric Otolaryngology (ENT), Speech‑Language Pathology, and multidisciplinary team members.
  • Document findings and develop individualized treatment recommendations.
  • Mentor Au.D. students and support clinical education initiatives.
  • Provide care across Vanderbilt's network of pediatric outreach clinics.

Qualifications

  • Doctor of Audiology (Au.D.) from an accredited program.
  • Tennessee Audiology License (or eligibility for licensure).
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology (CCC‑A) or eligibility.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in pediatric audiology.
  • Experience with pediatric hearing aid evaluations, fittings, and follow‑up care.
  • Strong interest in family‑centered care and interdisciplinary collaboration.
  • Experience working within pediatric ENT clinics is preferred.
