Pediatric Anesthesiologist

The Staff Pad is seeking an experienced, patient-centered Anesthesiologist to join a dedicated surgical team in Pensacola, FL. This role involves providing safe, high-quality general anesthesia care to pediatric and special needs patients in an Ambulatory Surgery Center specializing in general anesthesia dentistry, oral surgery, and comprehensive dental care. The ideal candidate will contribute to a supportive, mission-driven environment focused on patient safety, comfort, and positive outcomes.

Practice Info

• Ambulatory Surgery Center specializing in general anesthesia dentistry, oral surgery, and comprehensive dental care
• Provides care to pediatric and special needs patients
• Manages anesthesia care for approximately seven pediatric patients per OR day
• Collaborative ASC environment

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, high-quality general anesthesia care for pediatric and special needs patients
• Partner with dentists, nurses, dental assistants, and surgical staff to ensure excellent patient care
• Manage anesthesia care for approximately seven pediatric patients per OR day
• Prioritize patient safety, comfort, and positive outcomes in a fast-paced ASC environment

Shift & Schedule

• Full-Time (3+ days / week)
• No Call
• No Weekends or Holidays

Requirements

• Experience providing anesthesia care to pediatric patients
• Active, appropriate state Anesthesiologist licensure
• Current BLS and AHA PALS certification; PALS required within 6 months of hire
• National Board Certification strongly preferred
• Comfortable practicing in Anesthesia Care Team and independent practice models
• Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills
• Ability to adapt to varying patient needs and surgical environments
