The Staff Pad is seeking an experienced, patient-centered Anesthesiologist to join a dedicated surgical team in Pensacola, FL. This role involves providing safe, high-quality general anesthesia care to pediatric and special needs patients in an Ambulatory Surgery Center specializing in general anesthesia dentistry, oral surgery, and comprehensive dental care. Responsibilities
- Provide safe, high-quality general anesthesia care for pediatric and special needs patients
- Partner with dentists, nurses, dental assistants, and surgical staff to ensure excellent patient care
- Manage anesthesia care for approximately seven pediatric patients per OR day
- Prioritize patient safety, comfort, and positive outcomes in a fast-paced ASC environment
Shift & Schedule
- Full-Time (3+ days / week)
- No Call
- No Weekends or Holidays
Requirements
- Experience providing anesthesia care to pediatric patients
- Active, appropriate state Anesthesiologist licensure
- Current BLS and AHA PALS certification; PALS required within 6 months of hire
- National Board Certification strongly preferred
- Comfortable practicing in Anesthesia Care Team and independent practice models
- Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills
- Ability to adapt to varying patient needs and surgical environments
