Pediatric Anesthesiologist – WVU School of Medicine and the Department of Anesthesiology
Overview
West Virginia University School of Medicine and the Department of Anesthesiology are seeking Pediatric Anesthesiologists for assistant professor, associate professor, or professor ranks. The successful candidate will practice in Morgantown, WV, provide pediatric anesthesiology care, and contribute to education and leadership within the department.
Responsibilities
- Deliver pediatric anesthesia care for patients in academic and clinical settings.
- Teach medical students, residents, and fellows in anesthesiology and related specialties.
- Engage in academic activities including research, publication, and presentation to support the advancement of pediatric anesthesiology.
Qualifications
- MD or DO degree (or foreign equivalent) and eligibility for a state medical license.
- Completion of an anesthesiology residency program and a pediatric fellowship program.
- Board certification or eligibility in anesthesiology.
- For associate professor or professor ranks, demonstrated track‑record of leadership, excellent communication skills, and publications in high‑impact journals.
- All qualifications must be met by the time of appointment.
Schedule
- 40 scheduled weekly hours.
- Exempt position.
