US Anesthesia Partners (USAP) is seeking a PRN Pediatric Anesthesiologist to join their collaborative team at Horizon South Surgery Center in Jacksonville, Florida. This role supports growing pediatric and outpatient surgical service lines within one of Florida’s premier health systems. The position offers flexible, as-needed coverage with no minimum weekly commitment and no call, nights, or weekends.
Practice Info
- Work alongside a collaborative team of 50+ physicians and 90+ anesthetists.
- Fast-paced, efficient, and collegial ASC environment.
- Pediatric Case Mix: orthopedic surgery, urology, plastics, ENT.
- Adult Case Mix: plastics, general surgery, orthopedic surgery.
Compensation
- $325/hour pediatric coverage.
- Occurrence-based medical malpractice coverage (no tail required).
Shift & Schedule
- PRN / As-Needed Coverage Only – no minimum weekly commitment.
- No requirement to transition to full-time (though optional opportunities may arise).
- No call, no nights, no weekends.
Requirements
- Pediatric anesthesia fellowship experience required.
- Regional pediatric anesthesia experience strongly preferred.
- All USAP Anesthesiologists must be either an M.D. or D.O. with the completion of an approved Anesthesiology Residency program.
- Board eligible or board certified in Anesthesiology, completion of a fellowship may be required.
- Anesthesiologist must complete and meet hospital credentialing requirements for the hospitals they will have privileges.
