Pediatric Anesthesiologist

The Staff Pad is seeking experienced, patient-centered Anesthesiologists to join a dedicated surgical team in Jackson, MS. This role involves providing safe, high-quality anesthesia care to pediatric and special needs patients within a highly respected Ambulatory Surgery Center specializing in general anesthesia dentistry and pediatric dental care. • Ambulatory Surgery Center specializing in general anesthesia dentistry and pediatric dental care
• Partner with dentists, nurses, dental assistants, and surgical staff
• Manage anesthesia care for approximately seven pediatric patients per OR day
• Practice in Anesthesia Care Team and independent practice models

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, high-quality general anesthesia care for pediatric and special needs patients
• Partner with dentists, nurses, dental assistants, and surgical staff to ensure excellent patient care
• Manage anesthesia care for approximately seven pediatric patients per OR day
• Prioritize patient safety, comfort, and positive outcomes in a fast-paced ASC environment

Shift & Schedule

• Full-Time (3+ days per week)
• Part-Time (1-2 days per week)
• No Call
• No Weekends or Holidays

Requirements

• Experience providing anesthesia care to pediatric patients
• Active, appropriate state Anesthesiologist licensure
• Current BLS and AHA PALS certification
• PALS required within 6 months of hire
• National Board Certification strongly preferred
• Comfortable practicing in Anesthesia Care Team and independent practice models
• Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills
• Ability to adapt to varying patient needs and surgical environments
• Strong work ethic, professionalism, and positive attitude
