Pediatric Anesthesiologist

Wyckoff Heights Medical Center seeks a dedicated Pediatric Anesthesiologist to join their team in historic Brooklyn, NY. This role offers the opportunity to practice in a dedicated teaching and community hospital partnering with New York Medical College. The position involves caring for patients from diverse backgrounds within a facility handling tens of thousands of emergency visits and outpatient services annually.

• Dedicated teaching and community hospital in historic Brooklyn, NY
• Partnering with New York Medical College to train new generations of physicians
• Pediatric and Adult Emergency Departments annually receive 90,500 visits
• 1,400 babies are delivered annually
• Outpatient services are provided through the ambulatory care center network

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive anesthesia care across surgical procedures
• Perform pre-anesthesia evaluations and obtain informed consent
• Develop and discuss anesthetic plans with patients
• Manage induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia
• Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition and perform interventions as needed
• Support departmental coordination and clinical leadership

Compensation

• Salary: $525K annually
• Pediatric stipend: $25K
• Sign-on package: Up to $100K

Requirements

• M.D./D.O. Degree from an accredited College of Medicine
• Fellowship Trained in Pediatric Anesthesiology
• ECFMG and FLEX
• Completion of approved residency in anesthesia
• Currently licensed as a physician
