St. David's Medical Center in Austin, TX, is seeking a Pediatric Anesthesiologist to join their team. This role involves providing comprehensive anesthesia services for a wide variety of complex cases across multiple medical centers. - Provides anesthesia services at St. David’s Medical Center, North Austin Medical Center, South Austin Hospital, and Round Rock Medical Center
- St. David's Medical Center is a full-service facility with a 426-bed acute care hospital and a 64-bed rehabilitation hospital
- Features a 24-hour emergency department and an all-inclusive Bariatric Surgery Center
- Provides complex surgical services
Responsibilities
- Assist in the directing and coordinating of activities in the Anesthesia Department
- Responsible for the medical management of patients who are rendered unconscious and/or insensible to pain and emotional stress during surgery and other medical procedures
- Pre-anesthesia assessment
- Obtains and/or verifies patient consent
- Discuss anesthetic options and risks with the patient
- Induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia
- Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition
- Performance of clinical intervention as needed
Compensation
- Salary: $440,000+
- ~$130,000 productivity and call pay (total ~$570,000)
- Premium pay over 40 hours
- Pediatric Specialty Stipend: $50,000
- Sign on Incentive: $50,000

Requirements
- M.D./D.O. Degree from an accredited College of Medicine
- ECFMG and FLEX
- Completion of approved Residency in Anesthesia
- Currently licensed as a Physician
