Position Overview
The Department of Anesthesiology at MetroHealth Medical Center, Case Western Reserve University, has an immediate opening for a full-time ABA board-certified/eligible anesthesiologist with Pediatric Anesthesia fellowship training. Duties include direct patient care, resident teaching, and supervision of residents/CRNAs/CAAs. Opportunities for clinical research are available, and participation is encouraged. Your academic appointment at CWRU School of Medicine and salary will be commensurate with experience and credentials.

Outstanding internationally trained and certified Anesthesiologists currently practicing in the U.S. are encouraged to apply. Explore the opportunity to join an academic anesthesiology program through the American Board of Anesthesiology's (ABA) Alternate Entry Path (AEP).
Support and guidance for candidates seeking ABA certification via the AEP, including the Clinician Educator and Research & Fellowship pathways, is offered.
Candidates should demonstrate documented achievement in teaching and/or scholarship.
A four-year mentoring plan will be provided to support academic development.
