We are seeking a PECVD Manufacturing Equipment Engineer to join our team in Hillsboro, OR. You will be joining a highly collaborative team to provide hands-on support as well as implementing continuous improvement projects of semiconductor manufacturing equipment in a fast-paced innovative production environment.Responsibilities:Ownership of Plasma Deposition Equipment Engineer of a specific tool set for sustainment of daily operations and continuous improvementsUse metrics (Availability, MTBF, Variability) to drive improvement activities on hardware, maintenance, and overall operationTrain and support maintenance techniciansWork with cross functional team of process engineering, maintenance, and productionInterface with vendors and contractors for new tool installation, upgrades, and qualificationQualifications:Knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing principles, practices, and techniques as they relate to equipment engineering and maintenanceApplicants with Semiconductor Equipment Engineering experience outside of Plasma Deposition will be consideredExperience with CAD software package comparable to Solidworks preferredIngrained sense of personal ownership and accountability to those both up and down the chain of leadershipCollaborative, working effectively in small teams to drive improvementsStrong technical capability, including knowledge of pneumatics, robotics, electronics, and semiconductor processesMicrosoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint proficiency requiredMS Project or comparable, proficiency highly preferredTwo to five years technical experience working as an engineer in the industry specializing in Plasma Deposition toolsBachelor's degree minimumAble to work off-hours as neededEnjoy being part of a dynamic engineering and operations teamWilling to learn and growThis position is not eligible for visa sponsorship by the Company.Qorvo is an Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) employer and welcomes all qualified applicants.
