Senior Civil Site Project Manager / Project Engineer – ConnecticutExperience: 8+ years preferred Compensation: Competitive DOE Industry: Civil Engineering / Land Development / Transportation Infrastructure An established and growing engineering consulting firm is seeking a client-facing PE Civil Site Project Manager / Project Engineer to support and manage a wide range of civil engineering and site development projects throughout Connecticut. This individual will play a key role in project management, engineering design oversight, client coordination, and preparation/review of engineering plans and specifications.ResponsibilitiesManage civil/site engineering projects from concept through constructionPrepare and oversee engineering plans, specifications, permitting, and technical documentationCoordinate with clients, municipalities, consultants, and agencies including CTDOTReview and oversee site layout, grading, drainage, utility, parking lot, roadway, and land development plansMentor junior engineering and CAD staffParticipate in project meetings and public/client presentationsAbility to review and ultimately seal engineering documentsRequirementsBS in Civil Engineering or related fieldPE license strongly preferredEIT candidates close to obtaining PE may be considered8+ years of civil/site engineering experience preferredStrong understanding of engineering plans/specifications and construction documentsExperience with land development, roadway, parking lot, or municipal site projectsClient-facing communication and project management abilitiesAutoCAD Civil 3D experience preferred but not needed at allAbility to work collaboratively with engineering and drafting teamsTarget Backgrounds / Companies PE to Sign Documents Experience from firms such as: AECOM Weston & Sampson BL Companies Luchs Consulting Engineers BETA Group Lorello Associates SLR Consulting McLaren Engineering Group
