PCB Rework Specialist

Pcb Rework SpecialistDEKA is looking for a PCB Rework Specialist who is a motivated self-starter, requires minimal direction, and works well within multi-disciplinary teams. The individual will be working across several projects and must be able to communicate challenges and priorities effectively. The individual must be able to multi-task while remaining composed and efficient in a rapidly changing engineering environment.How you will make an impact as a PCB Rework Specialist:Electronic assembly and rework in an R&D environmentUtilize specialized tools and equipment, such as soldering stations, microscopes, and multimeters, to perform precise rework tasksSkillfully rework and repair PCBs, including component replacement, solder touch-ups, and board-level modificationsCarefully inspect PCBs for defects, such as damaged components, solder issues, and trace discontinuities.Assembly of cable assembliesMaintain a clean rework area and perform set-up/maintenanceSkills you will need to be successful in this role as a PCB Rework Specialist:Must have excellent PCB soldering/rework skillsGreat written and verbal communication skillsWorking knowledge of basic electronic componentsFamiliar with CAD tools (Pads, Altium, Solidworks) a plusAble to read and interpret basic electrical schematics and identify a part on PCB from a marked-up SchematicHigh school diplomaCertified solder technicianIPC CertificationExperience with Microsoft OfficeAbout DEKA:One hour from the beach, Boston, and the mountains, the historic Amoskeag Millyard once housed the largest textile mills in the world.
