To support the build of a secure space satellite communication system, the long-term contract PCB Layout Engineer will work remotely during PST hours, focusing on dense digital board layouts and utilizing advanced ECAD tools for complex multilayer board designs. Key responsibilities: Design and support printed circuit board assembly for high-performance electronic systems Utilize Siemens Xpedition, HyperLynx, and Validate tools for PCB layout and drafting Interpret schematics, mechanical drawings, and ECAD libraries to ensure accurate designs Required qualifications: 2+ years of experience in PCB layout, drafting, or board design support Proficient in Siemens Xpedition, HyperLynx, and Validate tools Experience with 20+ layer board designs and auto routing strategies Solid understanding of high-speed digital layout principles, including DDR4 and analog/RF circuit integration Ability to interpret schematics and mechanical drawings effectively
