You will lead a group of PCB layout engineers responsible for delivering high-quality, manufacturable designs supporting advanced semiconductor test systems. This role blends hands-on technical leadership with people management and cross-site collaboration, ensuring projects are executed efficiently, on time, and to Teradyne's quality standards.Lead and develop a team of PCB layout engineers, providing technical direction, mentorship, and performance guidanceOversee PCB layout execution, ensuring designs meet electrical, mechanical, quality, and manufacturability requirementsCollaborate with hardware engineering, project management, manufacturing, and global ECAD partners to deliver complex programsReview and approve PCB layouts, focusing on functionality, cost, reliability, and design-for-manufacturabilityEnsure adherence to industry standards (IPC) and Teradyne design processes while driving continuous improvementSupport project planning, resource allocation, and delivery commitments across multiple concurrent programsAll About YouWe seek individuals who share our passion and determination.

If you're ready to join us in this mission, take a closer look at the minimum criteria for the position.Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field, or equivalent experience5+ years of professional experience in PCB design, layout, or hardware engineering2+ years of experience leading or managing engineers, projects, or technical teamsStrong expertise in multi-layer PCB design, high-speed routing, and Design for Manufacturability (DFM)Hands-on experience with PCB design tools such as Cadence Allegro, Altium Designer, KiCad, or similarWorking knowledge of IPC standards and PCB quality best practicesAbility to troubleshoot complex layout issues and guide technical decision-makingStrong communication and collaboration skills across engineering and manufacturing teamsProven organizational and project management skills in a fast-paced environmentWe are only considering candidates local to the position location and are unable to provide relocation for this position. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.Compensation: The base salary range for this role is $151,800 - 242,800. This range is a good faith estimate, and the amount of base salary will correspond with experience and skill set.
