PCB Design Engineer

Title: PCB Design Engineer
Location: Cupertino, CA (work from office/lab 5 days a week)
Job Type: Fulltime Role
Salary Range: $110,000-$130,000 a year
Job Description
We are looking for someone with experience on PCB design.
Scope

• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to streamline design and testing process through advanced, automated design rule checking
• Create PCB designs in Cadence Allegro to exercise and validate specific design rules
• Partner with the software development team to define and build automated tests
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to validate design rules against real hardware designs
• Develop presentations showcasing example rule violations on PCB designs, and demonstrate the software's ability to correctly flag design issues, for stakeholder review

Technical Requirements

• 5+ years of experience creating PCB layouts in Cadence Allegro
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Highly motivated, with strong organizational skills and ability to work independently
• Expected: Familiarity with EMC principles
• Expected: Familiarity with DRC tools
