This role is ideal for a skilled professional with strong rework and soldering expertise who can build, modify, and repair complex printed circuit board assemblies to the highest quality standards.Key ResponsibilitiesBuild through-hole (THT) and surface mount (SMT) PCB assemblies per controlled documentationPerform rework and repair of PCB assemblies, including trace cuts and jumper additionsHand-solder SMT and THT components to IPC-A-610 Class 3 standardsWire and solder prototypes and complex assemblies of unique designsOperate equipment such as aqueous cleaners and component placement toolsAssist with wave solder and selective solder processesCut, form, and manually place componentsAssemble chassis and electromechanical components using various hardwareRecommend documentation improvements to enhance quality and efficiencyProvide guidance and support to PCB Assembler I & II team membersMaintain strict adherence to quality standards and workmanship guidelinesQualifications & SkillsAdvanced ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documentationStrong component identification knowledgeProven soldering skills meeting IPC-A-610 Class 3 standardsExperience with PCB rework (SMT & THT) and rework soldering equipmentProficiency using SN63, SN96, and HMP solder materialsAbility to assemble medium to highly complex electronic assembliesStrong attention to detail in high-volume, precision-driven environmentsAbility to handle small, delicate components with accuracySolid problem-solving and decision-making skillsAbility to work independently and meet deadlinesRequired Education & ExperienceHigh School Diploma or GEDMinimum of 5 years of PCB assembly experience (including rework)Why You'll Love Working HereCompetitive pay and great benefits—including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and paid time offBe part of a company that's growing, changing, and full of new opportunitiesA supportive, team-focused culture where your ideas matterMeaningful work that impacts industries making a difference in the worldIntervala utilizes and/or develops certain technologies which are subject to the U.S. Export Administration Regulations (EAR) or the U.S.
