Responsibilities
- Serve as a subject matter expert for payroll systems, payroll processing, and related technologies.
- Lead or support payroll system implementations, upgrades, enhancements, and migrations.
- Partner with payroll, finance, HR, and IT teams to gather requirements and recommend system solutions.
- Analyze payroll processes and identify opportunities for automation and optimization.
- Configure, test, and validate payroll system functionality and integrations.
- Ensure payroll calculations, tax configurations, deductions, and earnings are accurately reflected within systems.
- Support payroll compliance initiatives and regulatory requirements.
- Troubleshoot payroll system issues and provide effective resolutions.
- Develop process documentation, testing plans, and user training materials.
- Collaborate with vendors and internal stakeholders throughout project lifecycles.
- 8+ years of professional experience in payroll, payroll systems, HRIS, finance systems, or related disciplines.
- Experience working within both payroll operations and technology/systems environments.Hands-on implementation experience with ADP, Workday, or PeopleSoft Payroll.
- Strong understanding of payroll processing, payroll compliance, and payroll tax calculations.
- Experience with payroll system integrations, testing, and process improvement initiatives.
- Experience partnering with payroll, HR, finance, and IT stakeholders.
- Proven ability to analyze business requirements and translate them into system solutions.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and project management skills.
